Rhino pills: what they are vs prescription ED medicine

Rhino pills are over-the-counter "male enhancement" products sold without a prescription. They are not a labelled ED medicine, and Mendoxa does not sell them. FDA keeps a public list of sexual enhancement products, including many with "Rhino" in the name, that it says contain or may contain hidden drug ingredients.

What rhino pills are

Rhino pills is a name used for many "male enhancement" products sold over the counter, outside a prescription. Mendoxa does not sell them.

The name covers many different products, so we make no claim about what any one of them contains or how long it lasts. If you already take one, tell a clinician before you start any prescription ED medicine.

What FDA has said about rhino products

FDA's page "Sexual Enhancement and Energy Product Notifications" lists many products with "Rhino" in the name. Its entries say they contain, or may be harmful due to, hidden drug ingredients.

The link text reads, for example, "Rhino X contains hidden drug ingredient" and "Rhino 69 Gummy may be harmful due to hidden drug ingredient". The page does not say which ingredients are hidden. It states that these products "pose a serious health risk and are not guaranteed to work," that the list "covers only a small fraction of the contaminated products on the market," and that a product missing from the list is not thereby safe. Why a prescription ED medicine is different

A labelled medicine comes with a label, and a clinician reviews your heart history and nitrate use before prescribing it. The Viagra label says sexual stimulation is needed and lists nitrates as a contraindication.

The label states: "Sildenafil at recommended doses has no effect in the absence of sexual stimulation." The table sets the two side by side.

What we will say
Rhino pillsNot a Mendoxa medicine and not a substitute for a clinician visit. We do not print how long they last.
If a clinician prescribes sildenafilThe Viagra label starts at 50 mg, about 1 hour before sex, once a day at most. Sexual stimulation is required. Nitrates are a stop.
What we do not claimWhat is inside any one rhino product. FDA's page names hidden drug ingredients in general, not which ones.

The labelled guide is sildenafil.

Rhino pills and nitrates or heart medicines

If you take nitrates, an unlabelled product is a risk because you cannot check it against a label. The Viagra label lists nitrates as a contraindication.

FDA's page does not say which hidden ingredients are in rhino products, so we do not claim any of them contains sildenafil. A product with unknown contents gives you no way to tell whether it is safe next to nitrates or heart medicines. Read ED medicine and nitrates, and tell your doctor about every product you take.

Getting checked instead

If you were considering a rhino pill, a clinician visit is the other route. A licensed clinician can decide whether a labelled ED medicine is safe for you, and can say no.
