What is Ro Sparks?
This Ro Sparks review uses only what Ro publishes itself. On its Sparks page and its pricing page (both opened Oct 18, 2026), Ro describes Sparks as a compounded sublingual drop that combines sildenafil 55 mg and tadalafil 22 mg. You place it under the tongue, where Ro says it dissolves in about 10 minutes on average. Ro claims it then works in about 15 minutes on average, and that the tadalafil stays active for up to 36 hours. These are Ro’s claims, not FDA label data.
Ro Sparks is compounded, so it is not FDA-approved (FDA compounding Q&A). Ro says not to take it more than once in 24 hours, or within 24 hours of another PDE5 inhibitor. You start with an online visit. Ro says a provider reviews it in about 24 hours, and shipping is free and discreet, in 4 to 7 days.
How much does Ro Sparks cost?
The Ro Sparks cost is a flat $12 per dose on every monthly plan. The monthly price goes up with the number of doses:

Ro Sparks side effects & safety
Ro Sparks and the Mendoxa tablet are both compounded, so neither has its own FDA label (FDA compounding Q&A). The closest primary sources are the FDA labels of each individual ingredient. Those labels describe each drug on its own, in its approved form, not a compounded combination. Compounded combinations are not FDA-approved, so treat the label data below as information about each ingredient, not about the combined product.
The Viagra and Cialis labels list the same hard stops. Do not use them with organic nitrates in any form, or with a guanylate cyclase stimulator such as riociguat. Do not use them if sex is inadvisable because of your heart. Get emergency care for an erection that lasts more than 4 hours. Stop and get care for a sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes, or a sudden decrease or loss of hearing.
Most common side effects (2% or more) on the Viagra label: headache, flushing, dyspepsia, abnormal vision, nasal congestion, back pain, myalgia, nausea, dizziness and rash. On the Cialis label: headache, dyspepsia, back pain, myalgia, nasal congestion, flushing and pain in limb.
Ro Sparks does not contain apomorphine; the Mendoxa tablet does. The FDA label we can cite for apomorphine is APOKYN, a subcutaneous injection for Parkinson's disease “off” episodes. It is not an ED label and it does not set an ED dose. It lists: nausea and vomiting; syncope and low blood pressure on standing; falling asleep during daily activities; painful prolonged erections (reported by 3 of 361 treated men). It says use with 5HT3 antagonists such as ondansetron is contraindicated, after reports of profound hypotension and loss of consciousness. Alcohol and sublingual nitroglycerin made its blood-pressure drop larger.
Tell the clinician about every medicine you take, including blood-pressure medicines, alpha blockers and anti-nausea drugs.
Who should choose Ro Sparks or Mendoxa?
- Ro Sparks may fit if you want sildenafil and tadalafil only, the lowest entry price ($48 a month for 4 doses), or 4 to 10 doses a month at $12 each.
- Consider Mendoxa for a 3-in-1 option: ask a clinician about the sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine tablet. For a prescribed 20-tablet/month plan, compare $179 for one month with $449 for three months. More ingredients alone do not establish which option is appropriate for you.
- Comparing the lowest advertised spend? Ro also lists generic sildenafil from $32/month for 8 doses. That is a different product from either compounded combination; see our Viagra cost guide.
- Either way, a prescription is required, the medicine is compounded and not FDA-approved, and a licensed clinician decides. The answer can be no. Mendoxa is not available in California.

FAQ
How much does Ro Sparks cost?
Ro lists Ro Sparks at $12 per dose on a monthly plan: 4, 6, 8, 10 or 14 doses for $48, $72, $96, $120 or $168 a month. Ro says quarterly plans take $15 off per quarter. Mendoxa plans start at $129 for 1 month. The 3-month plan with 20 tablets per month is $449, about $7.48 per tablet.
Is Ro Sparks FDA-approved?
No. Ro Sparks is a compounded medication, and compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The Mendoxa tablet is compounded too, and also not FDA-approved.
How long does Ro Sparks last?
Ro says the tadalafil in Sparks can stay active for up to 36 hours, and that Sparks works in about 15 minutes on average after it dissolves. These are Ro's claims, not FDA label data. Ro says not to take it more than once in 24 hours or within 24 hours of another PDE5 inhibitor.
What are Ro Sparks side effects?
Ro Sparks is compounded and has no FDA label of its own. The FDA labels for sildenafil (Viagra) and tadalafil (Cialis) list headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, back pain and muscle aches among the most common side effects. Those labels cover each drug alone, not the combination. Nitrates are a hard stop.
Ro Sparks vs Viagra: what is the difference?
Viagra is FDA-approved brand-name sildenafil. Ro Sparks is a compounded sublingual drop that combines sildenafil 55 mg and tadalafil 22 mg, and it is not FDA-approved. Ro also lists generic sildenafil from $32 a month for 8 doses.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Ro Sparks?
It depends on how many doses you need. At 6 or 10 doses a month, Ro Sparks at $12 per dose costs less per dose than Mendoxa. On the Mendoxa 3-month plan with 20 tablets per month ($449), each tablet costs about $7.48, less than Ro's $12 per dose on a monthly plan. Ro's own generic sildenafil starts at $32 a month for 8 doses.
